High and low setting for brightness if you are playing late at night, early in the morning or even indoors. Reversible mounts to fit either the 3/8" or the 7/8" dovetails - Quite handy if you change paintball markers and have a different mount system. The Hot Shot comes with a standard 2032 size lithium battery found anywhere. The battery will last for years if maintained properly. Simply turn the sight off when you are done playing.
